Aspiring Programmer and Game Developer

I like solving puzzles. No, I love solving puzzles. I've always relished the challenge of breaking down a complex problem into smaller pieces, studying and experimenting until I understand how each individual piece works, and then putting all the pieces back together in a better shape than what came before.

When I took my first computer science course in college, I knew nothing about programming. I was just curious. That changed quickly. I was overjoyed: here was a way for me to scratch that intellectual puzzle-solving itch and make something practical and meaningful along the way! It wasn't long before I declared my major in CS. Now, I'm looking to start my career by putting to work the same skills and excitement that led me to excel in my studies.

I'm still new to the programming industry, and I'm itching to gain experience. Ultimately, I aspire to exercise my creativity and love of storytelling by building games, but gaining professional experience in any sort of software development is my next step.
